BETTY SCOTT ALLEN

Betty Scott Allen 79, died Friday, October 24, 2008 at Spanish Oaks Retreat and Hospice. Mrs. Allen was a native of Decatur, Georgia and a longtime resident of Savannah. She was a member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church for the past 38 years and a member of the PTO.

Surviving are, her husband, T. Wade Allen of Savannah, her nephews, Reid Scott of Chattanooga, TN., Bill Scott of Otto N.C., Al Scott of Portland, OR., Reverend Tom Atkins of Lavonia, GA. and her nieces, Scottie Spry of Crystal River, FL., Patsy Prickett of Nashville, TN., and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, October 27, 2008 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Eatonton, Georgia with the Reverend Drew Corbett and Reverend Tom Atkins officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.

Remembrances to the Union Chapel United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, the Alzheimer's Association, Spanish Oaks Hospice or Charity of Choice.
